Hello wonderful people, thanks for your interest. The Jilted generator is part of an ongoing collection of works where I create original music to compliment my Paintings and vice versa, among this collection I have chosen to tune in and capture the spirit, essence & energy of other Great Artists who have inspired my own imagination and creativity while pushing boundaries creating new ideas and material at the same time.

Here I pay homage and respect to Keith Flint and Liam Howlett & band The Prodigy, all the music I have made is original yet inspired by Liam's early tune's from Experience and Fat of the land / Jilted Generation era. Please Share, Comment & Subscribe, I Welcome all Peaceful Feedback :)
I Decided to do a Large one off 1.2 metre wide painting of Keith Flint as he is such a legend, I designed the imagination and is available for sale and will always remain the Album Cover for this Album so whoever buys it shall own something unique and collectable as my Art & Music projects are limited and completely original.
I remember hearing Charly on BBC Radio 1 when I was 11 and grew up with a love for the early 90's hardcore rave Jungle Breakbeat music, The prodigy Experience Tape was mostly played back then in my old shed where we used to hang out, it was full of motorbikes hifi equipment, electric guitar and Amiga 1200 with technosound sampler and copious amounts of cigarettes & Alcohol we all consumed lol haha It was no surprise being a musician I would one day find out how it was all made and have a go, I actually acquired a couple of Roland w30's just before I started this project which was ideal as the W30 was what Liam Howlett used to Sample & Sequence all the early tunes.. I have used a fair few classic Amen breaks and others in keeping with the theme which I Spliced up to make my own in places in conjunction with some samples from my Drum machine's for extra fatness and also Samples of rave stabs etc, I had immense fun sampling from some old random early 90's cassette tapes from my collection "one in particular recordings of the radio" I experimented using the W30 alongside other equipment. As with most of my music projects I enjoy using proper external hardware, Piano, Sampler, Synths, Drum machines & Acid Boxes that I soldered together years ago.. Oh And a bit of Guitar on the Jilted Generator Track. I decided to make all the vocal samples/recordings myself apart from 1 of the Tracks.
Some classic samples you may recognize like the Brazil Stab which Liam also used And The Roland Alpha Juno Hoover sound used in Charly.. A few years back I Had the pleasure of using one which belongs to a friend, during this time some live stuff was recorded so I resampled from that recording and made the sequence for it, "that's Track 5 Goin' Underground". So yeah I have tried to be authentic using old gritty lofi breaks & Samples from my old cassettes with a few taken of old 3.5" W30 Floppy disks..and Samples I recorded outdoor at various places of my phone and pocket recorder, Other sounds I made on my synths and as usual everything is tuned and recorded in 432hz... There are definitely some Old School Vibes goin on here. It has been totally manic trying to work on this in between Raising our Son and in process of moving! I May take this one Live at some point but we shall see :)
